Category: Othello Tunnels
Being located in the Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park, the Othello Quintet Tunnels get great exposure from the government; yet I’m amazed at how many people have never visited! The tunnels were built in 1914 for the old Kettle Valley Railway. Beneath the railway runs the Coquihalla River, which cut a 300′ deep gorge. The water runs so fast through here you can feel the power shaking everything! Definitely a must see!
